The Fronius IG 4000 inverter achieves higher yield due to work-sharing, this is achieved by linking the two power circuits using the MIX™ concept, an optimized master-slave system created by Fronius. In the part-load range only one of the two power stage sets operates, while both work together at full-load. The advantages are noticeable, increase in yield with a simultaneous reduction in operating hours. The Fronius IG 4000 inverter delivers more power output for higher performance (commercial) installations, yet only weigh 42 lbs making it the lightest grid connected inverter, resulting in installation cost savings.
